The acclaimed artist and activist would have turned 58 today. I had the fortune of seeing “The Political Line” at the de Young Museum in San Francisco about a year and a half ago, some photos of which I will gladly post here later when I get home. But for now I want to share this fantastic video from the CBS Evening News that aired in 1982, back when he was still doing gallery shows and a couple years before he became a global phenomenon.
